What is an Operation?
Each time you produce an output from GroupDocs for Cloud, we count it as an operation. An output can be a displayed, annotated, signed, assembled, converted or compared document. Here is how the operations are counted per each product:
Operations are deducted from your plan allowance. Most API calls are not deducted: uploading a document, preparing signature envelops or assembly questionnaires are actions that don't affect your allowance. When you finally get an output of these calls (for example, get a signed document), you perform an operation which is deducted from your allowance.
What happens if I go over my allowance?
If you exceed your monthly allowance, you will be billed for any excess usage based on your plan's "per extra operation" rate. If you are an annual or biennial customer, you'll receive an invoice for excess use at the end of each month.
You will see notifications about use if you come close to exceeding your allowance. This helps you understand and monitor excess use. This means that you can continue using the service without disruption, even if you go over your subscribed allowance.
All our plans are subject to a fair usage limit of total API calls, which we consider to be 10 times the operations included in your plan. Users who exceed that may be contacted to discuss moving to another plan.
How does the trial / development plan work?
When you sign up for a free trial, you get access to all features of GroupDocs for Cloud with a small allowance per month and some evaluation limits.
The limitations on this plan are: 100 operations/month, 5MB max file size, up to 20 files/month, 0.25 GB storage space and evaluation message in UI.
This plan is intended to give you a good idea of the service's capabilities and let you do some early development. Once your development needs exceed the limits of this plan, you can sign up to any other plan that meets you requirements.
How do you bill me?
You can pay online, using a credit card. For annual Enterprise and Enterprise Plus plans, you have an option to get invoices. Contact us for more details.
How do I change plans?
You can switch plans at any time from your GroupDocs for Cloud account by clicking on the Upgrade button in the top-right corner of the GroupDocs Dashboard. When you change plans, you receive either a charge, if you're upgrading, or a credit, if you're downgrading, for the part of the month that remains.
Can I get a discount?
Annual and biennial plans offer the best discounts and are of a great value.
If you only need to use a single Product API (as opposed to a mix of products covered by GroupDocs.Total for Cloud), then our individual product plans include 15% more operations.
